QUOTE OF THE DAY: “YOU ARE A CUSTODIAN OF GOD’S PROPERTIES ON EARTH”

Memory Verse: “So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.’Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back” Luke 19:13.

The earth belongs to God and everything in it – riches, wealth, land, buildings Psalm 24:1-2. Apart from the physical things one can see around, there are also a set of Intangible River of virtue locked up in man such as; wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, sound mind, creative abilities and lots more. These also are all God’s property given to man to bring returns back to God and to expand His kingdom.

These resources – tangible and intangible are released to man according to his/her capacity. If God owns everything, why then do we terrorise, maltreat, behave, mismanage and oppress? Have you forgotten that you brought nothing to this world and surely, you will go back with nothing? I wish you had understood this! What a great transformation would it have had on your personality and approach to life? The life of that rich young fool crumbled the moment he ascribed his wealth and achievement to his strength and intelligence.

Are you blessed with wisdom, leadership ability or with any of the spiritual gifts? You must always remember that you are a mere servant, an overseer, a custodian.

A day of accountability is imminent. With this knowledge, resist the temptation of boasting and bragging over what was given to you. Never talk, walk or think as if everything starts and ends with you. Avoid misuse of your possessions. Never use God’s grace on you contrary to purpose. In whatever capacity your life has been blessed, appreciate God for it.

Finally, share your possession with others for this is the only way to keep succeeding in success. Your time of weeping is over. Your season of delay is over and your period of laughter has come.

DIVINE INSTRUCTION FOR THE DAY
WHAT ARE THE ISSUES BOTHERING YOUR MIND AT THE MOMENT? WRITE THEM OUT ON A PAPER. SHRED IT OR BURN IT OFF AND ASK GOD TO TAKE THEM AWAY. A MIRACLE WILL HAPPEN.

PROPHETIC PRAYERS

• Heavenly father, thank you for counting me among the privileged few custodians of your resources.
• Help me Lord to overcome attitude of pride that may lead to destruction.
• At whatever level I may be operating in life, build in me the consciousness of God.
• Grace of faithfulness, come upon me today; watch over my territory today in Jesus name.
