QUOTE OF THE DAY: “IT TAKES MERCY AND GRACE TO NAVIGATE THE VOYAGE CALLED LIFE”
Memory Verse: “It does not, therefore, depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy”
Life is a race; the unwise depend on their feet while the wise depend on God. Running the race of life successfully well sometimes could defile all human abilities and strength. No accomplishment, vision, dream or aspiration can be attained by your capability, power, and intelligence but by mercy. To attempt to live life independent of God is to set your feet on the path of suicide or frustration.
Esther, according to human analysis, was the least, the most unqualified maiden to fill the vacant position of queen in Babylon. The enthronement of Esther was miraculous. Moses was never qualified by all standards but it was this same Moses that was instrumental to the exodus of the children of Israel from the land of Egypt.
[pullquote]Life is a race; the unwise depend on their feet while the wise depend on God. There are battles here and there – both physical and invisible. However, you can navigate this life successfully. You can accomplish your dreams and heart desires without nursing wounds, if you can identify with God and remain on His side. He said; ‘I will have mercy on whom I have mercy; and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion’ Romans 9:15. It takes absolute faith in God, and consistent walking in His word to survive the hardship and terror of this world.
When it is your turn, mercy shall speak for you regardless of the background, qualifications or connection of your contendants. It does not count whether you know people or not when mercy is advocating for you. Because God was involved in Esther’s case, the scriptures say; ‘Now the King was attracted to Esther more than any other virgin’ Esther 2:17. Today, mercy will attract you to your helpers more than any of your peers in Jesus name. Stay connected to God. See you on top.
