IF NEED BE; MAKE ENQUIRIES

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “EVERY TRANSACTION CONTAINS IN IT THE SEED OF LITIGATION”

Memory Verse: “Therefore my people will go into exile for lack of understanding; their men of rank will die of hunger and their masses will be parched with thirst”.
Isaiah 5:13.

So many people who have decided to become financially independent started out all right and then became confused in their very first experience. This results in their taking a loss, sometimes never recuperating from it. People are always very anxious to get ahead that they fail to make sure that they are on the right track. An adage says; ‘never learn to shave on your own beard, learn to shave on other fellow’s beard’. Meaning – find out from the other fellow who knows better than you do and ask questions.

Andrew Carnegie once said, ‘other men’s brains have made me rich’. This is not to say you should exploit people or take undue advantage of them. My point is; there is wisdom in learning from others particularly those who know more than you do or have more relevant experience than you in whatever you may want to embark upon. ‘But the counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things…’ John 14:26.

[pullquote]find out from the other fellow who knows better than you do and ask questions.[/pullquote]This is the parting advice Jesus gave to His disciples before His ascension about the need to always contact the Holy Spirit whenever they find themselves at crossroads in their ministerial journey. Where proper enquiries are made, relevant opinions sought, appropriate questions asked, mistakes will be few. Why must you learn everything the hard way when there are adequate information around to illuminate your path? Be careful with your first experience and your first step in anything. Never transact a business without a lawyer; the lawyer knows what to do to protect your interests. If you are building for the first time, be sure you have an architect.

Consult a qualified doctor whenever anything goes wrong with your health. Always ask question. Ask those who know. People are willing to help. What you will spend by engaging the service of qualified personnel will be lesser compared to what you will spend when problems ensue. Remember, the saddest words in life are, ‘only if I had known!’ Your subsequent life undertakings will be regret-free. Be wise!
