QUOTE OF THE DAY: “A DISPERSED FOCUS ELICITS FRUSTRATIONS”
Memory Verse: “God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning — the second day”.
Genesis 1:8.
There are not many things as frustrating and disorienting as dispersed focus. Multi-tasking can only help you if you have an effective delegation and evaluation system in place. In Genesis chapter 1, God had it in mind to create the entire universe but He did not do it all at once. For instance, He worked on specific things one day at a time. He took His time to evaluate each item of creation to ensure it fulfilled its purpose before He moved on to create something else. Even though provision has been made in creation for our sustenance, Jesus taught us to ask for and receive it on a daily basis.
If you are the type who always wants to execute many tasks simultaneously, apart from the psychological and emotional stress you will cause yourself, there is also a tendency to be impatient in the execution of the deluge of ideas that sometimes hit you. You have a desire to see them all accomplished in the shortest possible time.

This is the reason for many abandoned projects and dreams. Busyness does not indicate effectiveness. Activity is not necessarily an indication of productivity. The best songs are rendered one note at a time. You fill your tummy with food one morsel at a time. No matter the distance you intend to cover you take one step at a time.
Drunkards get drunk one sip at a time. It is not so much the physical energy that gets the job done but the consistent, persistent and insistent application of effort in a given direction. Decide which of the tasks before you is most vital and pursue it to a conclusion. No matter how many things you need to get done, focus on completing one assignment at a time. I see you enter the realm of success. Remain blessed!
