“FOR A VISION TO DRIVE YOU, IT MUST BE BIGGER THAN YOU”
Memory Verse: “When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it”. Matthew 13:46.
Life is not about what you drive. It is all about what drives you. Vision is to the achiever what the operating system is to a computer. Without it, no software can run on the system. One of the proofs that a vision is God inspired is that such vision is usually bigger than the capacity of the receiver to accomplish it. Its focus is never on you. For instance, forty years after Moses had the idea of delivering Israel from the Egyptian oppression; God showed him the magnitude of the assignment. Interestingly; out of fear and feeling of insufficiency, according to Exodus 3:11-12 he politely declined. But God had to reassure him with signs and wonders that convinced him that it was too big for his human capacity. The question is; is your present vision big enough? Is it compelling enough? Is it worth giving your attention, time and your life for?

There is joy and a sense of fulfillment when you set and pursue a goal that is bigger than your capacity. It engages everything about you, thus makes you a better person than you were psychologically, mentally and even physically. It births in you a sense of responsibility, and rapidly takes you to a state of maturity. Do not just stress yourself seeking fame and fortune. Seek and pursue a God-given vision. Attempt something so great, that it would be doomed to fail if God is not in it. This is your platform to fame and fortune. The best in you will unravel. God’s expectation of you will not fail. Go for something bigger, have a great day!
