What is life? It is whatever exists to keep existing; life simply means what cannot but continue to exist. It is God’s investment in human beings. What is investment? Investment is anything that is meant to reproduce itself either in kind or cash. God invested wisdom, knowledge, creative mind, insights and so on in man at creation, according to Genesis 1:7, 26. He demanded for fruitfulness, productivity, expansion and rulership as dividends on His huge investment (life) in man. Every material you need to make life is naturally invested into the situation that comes your way. No situation is worst to meet a need in life.

Of a truth, life itself is against whatever is not productive. You cannot secure the treasure of life without understanding what you need to do with what you see in it. The door of life is always shut against those who only want to make use of life not minding to make it more useful. Everything in life is waiting for what you will give to it before giving you what you need to survive. For instance, plants must breathe out oxygen if man will survive. Also, man must breathe out carbon dioxide if plants will survive. So, everything provided by God is a raw material until we give something to refine it. No matter your belief and hope, do not expect life to offer you what you refused to give to it.

All emptiness is a product of misappropriation or hiding what you are endowed with. No man came to life empty.

What you are given or endowed with is the secret to what you need to survive. You can’t be refreshed above what you are able to invest into life. In order to meet up with God’s great expectation on you, you must invest your time, resources, knowledge, and skill but above all, invest whom you are, what you are and where you are into the service of God and humanity. You won’t end up a liability.

PROPHETIC PRAYERS

• Oh Lord, endow me with a sense of investment, henceforth; I refuse to be a waster of resources.
• I receive grace now to meet up and deliver on God’s mandate and expectations for me in Jesus name.
• Deliver me from emptiness, fill up all my emptiness. Use me to add value to my generation.
• I shall leave this world better than I met it in Jesus name.
