QUOTE OF THE DAY: “YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A WORLD FIGURE TO HAVE A DREAM”

Memory Verse: “But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me”.               Luke 14:18.

Some people end up being non-achievers either as a result of inability of their minds to conceive great things or for the reason of inferiority complex. Two different groups of people are in this category: those who cannot conceive or are barren of ideas and those who have conceived but find it hard to pursue their dreams to fruition.

Some are fond of giving all manners of excuses. Your excuses may be reasonable and genuine, but the fact remains that: no dream no future. For instance, here is an excuse given by someone for not honouring his invitation to the great banquet according to Luke 14:20 ‘still another said, I just got married, so I can’t come’.

Now hear this, the Wright brothers were nothing when they envisioned the first aircraft. Winston Churchill was a common man when he dreamt of a free Europe. Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr. was not yet a leader when he dreamt of racial equality in the United States of America. It is the size and the pursuit of a dream that makes the difference between ordinary and extra ordinary people.

Ordinary people end up living extra ordinary lives when they follow their dream. Why? A God-given dream will motivate you to make important changes in your life. Are you of the opinion that if the dream is not big it is not worth pursuing? Size sometimes does not determine significance. Your dream does not have to be big; it just has to be bigger than you. Someone might be saying now is not the right time to pursue my dream. But I will like you to know that permission as to when to start pursuing your dream comes from two sources: God and yourself. It is never too late to become what you might have been.

The timing will never be perfect for you to pursue your dream. Run away from people whose minds are barren, or they will infect you with the cancer. Play around creative people, feed your mind with pictures and fill your ears with words that will provoke the development of great dreams in you. Attempt something that will stretch the capacity of your mind. Above all, if you already have a dream, start the pursuit now! If you do not, next year you will be a year older and not a step closer to it. God will make all grace abound to you. Your dry season is over. Remain blessed!

PROPHETIC PRAYERS

• Holy spirits fertilize my mind, let it produce great and lofty ideas.
• Today, impart me with the power to imagine, conceive and execute.
• I hereby declare; my dreams shall not be aborted, it shall not die; it shall be nurtured to fruition.
• Nothing shall intimidate me anymore, I hereby give up all excuses in Jesus name.
