QUOTE OF THE DAY: “BY HUMAN LOGIC, YOU CANNOT TRAVEL
FAR IN THE JOURNEY OF LIFE”

Memory Verse: “But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it”. Numbers 14:24.

What does the spirit of Caleb mean? The spirit of Caleb is the ‘can do’ spirit. It is the spirit of possibility. Caleb was one of the faithful and loyal followers of Moses. He was among those twelve sent on a spying mission to the promised land.

As a young man he came back from the promised land, stood with the minority and announced, ‘with God on our side we will take possession of the land!’ At 85, he was still slaying giants and climbing mountains. The reason is he had a different spirit. He was not a ‘go with the flow person’. We are all given talents and dreams. Sometimes the two do not seem to match. But usually we compromise both before ever finding out.

Later on, we find ourselves looking back longingly to that time when we should have chased our true dreams and our true talents for all they were worth. Do not ever be pressured into thinking that your dream or your talents are not prudent. They were never meant to be prudent, they were meant to be bringing joy and fulfillment into your life!

If a caterpillar refuses to get into its cocoon it will never transform and will be forever relegated to crawling on the ground, even though it had the potential to fly. What do you believe God has called you to do? Do it! God is never limited by your Intelligent Quotient. He is limited by your ‘I will’. One poet said; ‘if you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you do not.If you would like to win but you think you can’t, it’s almost certain you won’t.

Retune your mind towards the side of possibility, read books that will increase your faith. Watch programmes that will stir up faith in you and associate with people whose words, thoughts and action will challenge your faith. Help and assistance will locate you.

DIVINE INSTRUCTION FOR THE DAY: SOW A SEED INTO SOMEBODY’S LIFE TODAY NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL. EXPECT A HARVEST, IT WILL COME.

PROPHETIC PRAYERS:

• Oh Lord, work out your purpose for my life; let your word knock out my negative mindset.
• Let all strange doctrines and theories that are in conflict with your word be dismantled.
• Let strong faith erupt in me via my encounter with your word today.
• I have an excellent spirit; I shall not be scared off my destiny in Jesus name.
