QUOTE OF THE DAY : “THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU CAN PUT INTO YOURSELF IS GOD’S WORD”
MEMORY VERSE: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth”. 2 Timothy 2:15.
There are countless opportunities for investment in ourselves. Investment is not restricted to money. Everything you say or do create an investment somewhere. But whether that investment generates a dividend or loss depends on you. It is a great mistake to believe that you are working for someone else. No matter how many bosses you may have, God is the real and ultimate employer. Investing in yourself makes you better, more skillful, more marketable, more relevant, more competent and more enjoyable in whatever service you are rendering. Fulfillment in destiny is impossible without you applying the principle of investing in yourself.
Making out time for taking your spouse and children out for relaxation, refreshment and other forms of recreation is a good investment in marriage. Reading at least one or two pages containing vital information relevant to your assignment on a daily basis is also a good form of investment. Anything giving to people, organizations or the needy is worthy investments into your future because it will always come back to you in multiples; Luke 6:38.

into your health. Watch out for opportunities to invest, and put in your best, for what you plant now you will harvest later. Gilbert Arland said it correctly that ‘to improve your aim, improve yourself’. Whenever prosperity comes, do not consume it all. Give some back to others and invest some in yourself.
Time spent in investing or improving yourself is never a waste. God’s presence will surround you. His favour will envelope you. Have a productive day!
